Change. Communication. Less Noise. More Meaning. Change That Lands. is out in the world —
and to mark it, four people who work at different edges of the change-communication problem
are getting together to talk about what it looks like in practice.

It’s a launch-week celebration with the time zones working for those in Australia, New Zealand,
Asia, MENA, Europe and the UK: evening in Melbourne and Sydney, morning in London and
Reykjavík. Pour a coffee or a wine, depending on where the day finds you.

Hosted by Lena Ross, the panel takes the ideas at the heart of Dr Jen Frahm’s new book and
looks at them from four angles:

Dr Jen Frahm on the shape of the whole thing: why change communication has three jobs to
do — monologic, dialogic and sensemaking — and why doing more of it is rarely what makes
change land.

Rachael Warner on the craft: the writing that cuts through, and why the words you reach for
during change carry more weight than we tend to give them credit for.

Michelle Teunis on the science: what’s actually happening in peoples brains during change,
and why meaning and trust beat volume every time.

Mike Klein on what’s coming: where change communication is heading in an age of fragmented
attention and accelerating AI — and what that asks of us now.

Many of us were trained to communicate change by broadcasting harder — more emails, more
updates, more noise. This is an hour about the alternative: less noise, more meaning, and
communication that lands.

Whether you lead change, support it, or you’re simply the person everyone turns to when things
shift, you’ll leave with something you can use on Monday.

Meet the panel
Dr Jen Frahm

Author of Change. Communication. and co-founder of the Agile Change Leadership Institute.
Across thirty years and a PhD in change communication, Jen has become one of the field’s
most trusted voices — the person organisations turn to when change is complex and the
communication has to work. Her earlier books include Conversations of Change,
Change.Leader and The Agile Change Playbook.

Lena Ross — host
Co-founder of the Agile Change Leadership Institute and one of Australia’s most recognised
voices in agile change. Through her Melbourne practice #changehacks, Lena has spent years
bringing design thinking, neuroscience and agile approaches to the change profession. She’s
the author of Hacking for Agile Change and Change Management: The Essentials, and Jen’s
co-author on The Agile Change Playbook. She’s hosting tonight.

Rachael Warner
Rachael runs BFG People and is a communications and writing consultant and trainer with
fifteen years in fast-moving change environments across the public and private sectors. She’s
known for stripping the jargon out of change messages and teaching communicators to write for
the person skimming their inbox on a Friday afternoon — not for the project plan. A member of
the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Michelle Teunis
A global change and transformation leader who specialises in applied organisational
neuroscience — the bridge between what the science knows about the brain and what
businesses actually do during change. Over twenty-five years she’s advised iconic brands
across banking, media, aviation and education, and she’s a certified Master Neuroplastician.
Many will know her Brains on Change posts on LinkedIn.

Mike Klein
Principal of Changing The Terms, an internal and strategic communication consultancy based in
Reykjavík, and editor-in-chief of Strategic. A US/UK dual citizen who’s worked both sides of the
Atlantic — from US political campaigns to global organisations like easyJet, Barclays and Shell
— Mike is an IABC Fellow, a London Business School MBA, and founder of the

#WeLeadComms initiative. He thinks hard about where the profession is heading.
