Join us for the global launch of Change. Communication. Less Noise. More Meaning. Change That Lands. — the new book from Dr Jen Frahm.
To mark the launch, Jen sits down with Caroline Kealey, a pioneer in change communications and Canada’s premier executive facilitator and team coach focused on change leadership. In this lively conversation, they explore why change communication has never mattered more, and why doing more of it is rarely the answer.
For over 25 years, Caroline has been the partner leaders call when change is hard, high-stakes, and complex, working with the likes of the United Nations, the House of Commons, and Shopify. She wrote the foreword to Jen’s new book — and on launch day, the two of them get into the ideas behind it.
Together they’ll explore the three jobs change communication has to do (monologic, dialogic, and sensemaking), the contemporary practices that actually cut through the noise, and where change communication is heading in an age of fragmented attention and accelerating AI.
This is a conversation for anyone who leads, supports, or communicates change — whether you call yourself a change practitioner, a communicator, or simply the person everyone turns to when things shift.

Jen Bio
Dr Jen Frahm is a keynote speaker, author, and educator specialising in change, agility, and change communication.
For three decades, she’s been the expert organisations turn to when change is messy, continuous, and high-stakes — the kind that can’t be controlled, only navigated. Equal parts truth-teller, ambiguity-tamer, and practical problem-solver, her work helps leaders and teams translate complexity into action, working at the intersection of change and agility, neuroscience, and communication.
Her focus isn’t volume; it’s meaning. She believes communication isn’t an activity you perform on top of change — it’s the environment in which change either takes hold or comes undone. The work, as she sees it, is no longer about controlling the narrative, but about helping people find their place within it.
She’s increasingly regarded as the definitive voice in change communication. At the heart of her thinking is a deceptively simple framework drawn from her doctoral research: change communication does three distinct jobs — monologic, dialogic, and sensemaking — and the craft lies in knowing how to sequence and move between them.
Her signature is translating rigorous research into practices people can use the next day. Whether she’s speaking on stage, teaching practitioners, or working alongside a team mid-transformation, the goal is always the same: to cut through the noise and help change actually land.
She has designed and delivered change across industries ranging from wine sales to wedding dresses, veterinary pharmaceuticals to energy utilities — working with everyone from nuns to engineers, across corporate, government, and non-profit sectors in more than 80 countries.
The backbone of her practice is the Agile Change Leadership Institute, which she co-founded and through which she has helped thousands of practitioners and leaders build the capability to lead through complex and continuously evolving environments. She built this hub of programmes, tools, and frameworks because sharing what works is part of how she works.
Her roots are in academia. Her doctoral research at the Queensland University of Technology examined how change communication shapes change receptivity — work that continues to underpin her thinking today. She has lectured across undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive programmes in leadership, organisational behaviour, project management, and innovation, and her longstanding involvement with the International Association of Business Communicators keeps her close to the evolving realities of the work.
She is the author of four books: Conversations of Change (2017), the co-authored The Agile Change Playbook (2020), Change. Leader (2021), and Change. Communication. Less Noise. More Meaning. Change That Lands. (2026) — the book she’s been writing, in one form or another, since her PhD.
Outside the work, Jen finds joy in paint and charcoal, cooking for friends, and topping up with walks in the bush. She grew up on the land of the Yuwibara people and now lives and works on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.
